With proper installation and sealcoating every 3-5 years, a Mississippi asphalt driveway lasts 20+ years. Skip sealcoating and that number drops to 10-12.
24 hours for light vehicles, 48-72 hours for heavy trucks or trailers. The surface keeps curing for 30 days, so avoid parking in the same spot every day the first month.
Every 3-5 years for residential driveways, every 2-3 for commercial lots. Mississippi rain and heat shorten the interval compared to drier markets.

Square footage, asphalt thickness, sub-base prep, access to the site, and tear-out of old material. Most residential driveways run $3 to $7 per square foot installed.
Asphalt is cheaper upfront, easier to repair, and handles Mississippi heat with regular sealcoating. Concrete lasts longer (30-40 years) and looks cleaner, but costs more and cracks are harder to fix. We install both and will tell you straight which one fits your property.
Regrade once or twice a year and top off with fresh crushed stone every couple of years. Good drainage on the sides does more than any gravel choice.

Most residential jobs are scheduled within 2-3 weeks of signing. The paving itself takes 1-2 days. Commercial lots run longer depending on size.
Yes. Fully licensed in Mississippi and carry general liability plus workers comp. Ask for a certificate of insurance before any crew steps on your property, from us or anyone else.
Most of the time, yes. Standing water usually means the sub-base was never graded right. We regrade, add slope, and in some cases cut in a trench drain before laying new asphalt.
March through October is prime. Asphalt needs ground temps above 50 degrees to compact right. We pave into winter when the weather cooperates, but spring and fall give the best results.
Sealcoating is a thin protective layer that blocks water and UV. Resurfacing is a fresh 1.5 to 2 inch layer of asphalt over the old surface. Sealcoat every few years, resurface every 7-10.
Sealcoat at year one, then every 3-5 years. Fill cracks as they show up, usually once a year. Keep edges clear of grass roots. That routine keeps an asphalt driveway on the 20+ year track.
Tell us about the job. We'll be out to measure within 5 business days and send a written, itemized quote after the site visit.
